It’s up to nature
Sourcing the best ingredients isn’t always easy, but when we find them, we celebrate. We encounter different challenges along the way sometimes; because these are natural ingredients, everyday issues like weather, climate change, and soil can impact the availability of a plant material. Like in the case of our Eater’s Digest Remetea, which became unavailable for a time last year due to the crop issues with the herb, Lemon Myrtle.
Whatever the reason – sometimes it happens because, ultimately, it’s up to nature!
New source for neroli and champa
Fast forward to today: we’re thrilled to share with you that we are changing the current source of our neroli that is included in some of our product formulations to a higher quality crop of neroli (citrus aurantium) from Tunisia. We have also sourced a brand new champa (michelia champaca oil), from India. For both of these changes, the species remain the same but the crops and sources are different.
Enhanced aroma, higher quality
As with all plant ingredients, when you source a different crop (or from a different part of the world), the aroma is sometimes slightly different. We think you’ll be very pleased with these new ingredients and the aroma of the blends.
Neroli and champa are found in a variety of our products and we’ve sprung into action to add this enhanced quality essential oil to all formulations so that you can continue to enjoy their incredible healing properties. You’ll see these in our stores over the coming weeks – we never waste time when it comes to introducing even better quality ingredients!
