How to Use

Directions

  • Adults (For colds only): Add 4–12 drops to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5–10 minutes. Use 1–3 times per day.
  • Adults: Add 3 drops to 20 ml of carrier oil for massage. Apply as a body massage once daily. Rub and/or massage into skin until solution vanishes.
  • Adults: Add 1 drop to 10 ml of carrier oil for local application. Apply to a small body area only, 1 to 3 times per day. Rub and/or massage into skin until solution vanishes.
  • For occasional use only.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not use • on inflamed skin or dermatitis • if pregnant or breastfeeding • orally • undiluted • on eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. Consult a health care practitioner • before use if epileptic or asthmatic • if symptoms persist or worsen. Stop use • if you experience nausea, dizziness, headache, an allergic reaction or skin irritation • and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms are accompanied by a fever, rash, persistent headache or chronic lung condition. Keep out of reach of children. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre. This oil is phototoxic. Do not expose applied area(s) to the sun within 3 – 4 days after application.

"If you love citrus, this is a must have. I filled the two diffusers with 15 drops in each and was amazed how long the aroma lasted. In the afternoon, I returned from a walk with my dog and was amazed at the subtle yet distinct scent of lime! The package is so cool, love the cylinder shape and I have never received one damaged, so far!"

I received a product that showed signs of use.

"I regularly order products from this store every month, and about four of them, including the lime essential oil, arrived in pristine condition upon opening. Some of them made a noise when opened, and the fasteners broke, making them feel like new. However, the remaining four opened as quickly as if I were opening a used product. These four items didn't arrive on the same day. Sometimes two arrived, sometimes one, sometimes one. These were experiences I've had on multiple occasions. Knowing the quality and value of Sage, I held back from writing a review. However, today, I received an email inquiring about my review, and I felt the need to clarify this so the brand would take action. The above statement is particularly disappointing. I hope they inspect the products more thoroughly before shipping. I've been purchasing from them for over three years, and I'm especially disappointed that these shipping errors have occurred multiple times in the past year."
