In case you missed the memo, back in the Fall we introduced our brand-new line of skincare products, formulated for different skin types and different skincare goals. We’re so excited that that the results are in – and you’re loving it!
We chose to create four distinct skincare lines to represent the skin types that most people identify as having:
- Glow On, which is a balancing and renewing line for those who identify as having normal or combination skin
- Calm-O-Mile, which is a gentle and calming line for those who identify as having sensitive or reactive skin
- True Dew, which is a rich and restoring line for those who identify as having dry or mature skin
- Claritea, which is a balancing and cleansing line for those who identify as having oily or acne prone skin
Though some people choose to use all the products within a certain skin type skincare collection, others find that mixing and matching products from each of the individual product lines is what best suits their skincare goals and needs. Below we are sharing more information about each of the lines so you can decide for yourself which products are best suited for your routine.
A FACIAL KIT FOR THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS HAVING NORMAL/COMBINATION SKIN
The Glow On line of products is characterized by a green, herbal and fresh scent that is primarily driven by the key ingredient you’ll find within the line, parsley seed oil. Parsley seed oil is high in antioxidants and rich in vitamin C – a vitamin that the skin loves for a radiant glow! This ingredient is brightening, toning and renewing, making it perfect for normal or combination skin types.
Glow On is an oil cleanser made with jojoba, sugar cane-derived squalane, sunflower seed oil and elemi essential oil to help defend against environmental stressors that can cause damage and dryness.
Glow On moisturizer is a non-greasy daily hydrator made with oat kernel extract that provides a non-gluten, non-soy form of ceramides and shea butter, camelina seed oil and petitgrain essential oil.
Glow On face oil is a final-step dry skin treatment product to lock in moisture and help balance oil production with raspberry seed oil, argan oil and elemi essential oil.
A FACIAL KIT FOR THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS HAVING SENSITIVE/REACTIVE SKIN
The Calm-O-Mile line of products is characterized by a sweet, slightly floral and apple-like scent that is primarily driven by the key ingredients you’ll find within the line, two types of chamomiles. Roman and German (or Blue) chamomile help to calm the skin and reduce the appearance of redness due to dryness, making it perfect for sensitive or reactive skin types.
Calm-O-Mile is a gel cleanser made with aloe vera leaf juice, squalane, sunflower seed oil and geranium essential oil for a soft, frothy lather that is non-irritating to the skin.
Calm-O-Mile moisturizer is our lightest formula, helping to ease and reduce the appearance of redness from dryness and leave the skin feeling calmed. It’s been blended with calendula to gently hydrate dry, delicate skin and rich in vitamin E apricot kernel oil, with essential oils of palmarosa, frankincense and ho wood.
Calm-O-Mile face oil helps to improve hydration and elasticity with camellia seed oil, evening primrose oil and roman chamomile essential oil.
A FACIAL KIT FOR THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS HAVING DRY/MATURE SKIN
The True Dew line of products is characterized by the rich, rosy scent of the queen of all flowers, the rose. Rose is known to provide nourishing hydration to deeply depleted skin and to help reduce the appearance of premature signs of aging, making it perfect for dry or mature skin types.
True Dew is a cream cleanser formulated to gently but effectively remove makeup and SPF products while leaving the skin feeling supple and softened and is blended with rich in vitamin E avocado oil, safflower seed oil and rose geranium essential oil.
True Dew moisturizer is our richest formula, helping to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles by restoring hydration and luminosity. It’s been blended with hyaluronic acid, which can attract many times its weight in water, rosehip oil, elderberry extract and neroli essential oil.
True Dew face oil helps to strengthen the skin’s elasticity, supports and enhances the appearance of collagen production and helps the skin to look and feel rejuvenated, with prickly pear seed oil, blueberry seed oil, sea buckthorn oil and essential oils of rose, frankincense and helichrysum.
A FACIAL KIT FOR THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS HAVING OILY/ACNE PRONE SKIN
The Claritea line of products is characterized by the fresh, astringent and camphorous notes of its key ingredient, tea tree. Tea Tree is known for its deeply cleansing properties and has a cooling feeling when applied topically to the skin, making it perfect for oily or acne prone skin types.
Claritea is a gel cleanser formulated to clarify pores, reduce excess oil and balance the skin’s natural oil production. It’s been formulated with squalane and jojoba oil to closely mirror the skin’s natural sebum, sunflower oil and patchouli essential oil.
Claritea toner is made from a base of liquid alum salts which help to tonify while removing remaining traces of dirt, oil and makeup alongside astringent and clarifying essential oils of tea tree, patchouli, geranium and juniper berry.
Claritea moisturizer is a mattifying formula, blended to help smooth skin’s texture, stabilize oil production and hydrate the skin with antioxidant-rich raspberry seed oil, mild and well-tolerated apricot kernel oil and essential oils of lavender, myrtle and bergamot.
TIPS FOR BUILDING A FACIAL KIT WITH 100% NATURAL SKINCARE PRODUCTS
As we mentioned earlier, it’s possible that while building a facial kit you may decide that staying within one specific line of products works best for you, or you may decide to venture out and choose your own skincare adventure. Whatever you decide, here are a few tips for getting the most out of your new routine:
- Stick with it. Consistency is really what helps to make skincare products effective. Using a product once or twice won’t allow you to know how it actually works or if your skin agrees with the ingredients, so try to follow your routine for at least a few weeks before deciding if a product is right for you.
- Introduce new products one at a time. If you’re frequently experimenting with new products and ingredients, it will be difficult to tell which ones are or are not right for you, particularly if you experience any breakouts or sensitivities. Go slow and allow your skin the time it needs to adjust.
- Less is more. Our experience with the Saje skincare line is that a little goes a long way. We’ve formulated these products to be obsessively natural and powerfully potent, so we suggest starting with a small amount of any product you are using and adding more if necessary.
