WHAT ARE CRUELTY-FREE PRODUCTS?
Cruelty-free products are those that have been formulated, tested and developed without the use of any ingredients or byproducts that have been observed, reviewed, trialed or evaluated using animals as test subjects. A further distinction is a category called vegan products, which means they also do not contain any animal derived ingredients or byproducts.
Currently, there is no defined regulation in Canada or the United States to fully and completely state the parameters of what ‘cruelty-free’ means to many companies and their products. Often, a cruelty-free disclaimer can be in reference to a finished product, while many of the tests that have been potentially performed with animals as subjects may have occurred at the ingredient level.
When seeking out beauty and cosmetic products as part of your self-care routines that are in fact cruelty-free, it’s important to do your own research on a brand, their ethics and their stance when it comes to being truly cruelty-free. This is the very first product ever formulated for Saje all the way back in 1992. AROMA OM CERAMIC DIFFUSER
This is our award-winning, best-selling diffuser offered in a chic and timeless white ceramic. Here at Saje, we’re big fans of diffusing. LIQUID SUNSHINE HAND CREAM

YOGA BODY BUTTER

Creating a strong moisture barrier on the skin is what helps keep skin feeling soft and supple, which is why we’ve also selected essential oils known to encourage moisture retention in the skin, like the sweet, earthy and peaceful notes of orange, patchouli, cardamom and cedarwood. Try slathering onto skin when still damp post bath or shower for extra skin softening.

BRIGHT EYES EYE CREAM
The newest product to join our ever-growing skincare collection, Bright Eyes is a fresh and herbal cream, formulated to deeply hydrate, retain moisture and help brighten the delicate eye area with a number of ingredients chosen specifically for their many benefits. Improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles, protect from free radicals and rejuvenate the skin with eyebright, a flower extract known to brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of puffiness, caffeine-rich guarana extract to encourage blood flow to the skin and hyaluronic acid to help retain moisture. A little goes a long way – apply a pea-sized amount under the eyes and around the brow bone both morning and night as desired.
